Is our bible complete?
Marrion raised a very intresting point in the first bit of this class that i am sitting in. If we found another letter by paul that could be of benifit to us then should we re-jig our bibles to put it in. We evangelicals have a mind set that this is the bible it is the holy word of god and it is complet but people like Luther were relucktant to let Reverlations into the good book. I just think it is an intresting point to think about.

I'd worry about thinking that God didnt know how he wanted the Bible to end up. I mean, we get to start selecting bits of the bible that belong in there more or less... depending on our view. I couldnt trust the word of God if I was it's judge - I think it judges us.
no i agree i just thought it was intresting perpective to think about. i mean the bible could still be a work in progress but i would not want to be the one who desided what went in and what didn't soooo glad that it didn't fall to me in any way sense of form. :-)
