went to see gordon last night which was intresting mainly because i only had enough money for the perth to edingbough bit and not the rest of the way. but gordon like a night in shinning armer got on another bus and picked me up :)
we spent this morning together and then we had to go our seperate was as normal me to say goodbye to my car and him to work.
not that i am not working tonight i am going to youth club presantly.

strange sensation

sitting at home with the collection of nooma dvds it is intresting to watch. not feeling very well woke up dizzy and but not quite so ill that i can stop hence the watching tv for work. its not a bad life

busy day

grabing five minits breack to tell you about my bussy day. well busy is not nessisaryly the word scattered may be the word. i came into church to check my e-mails and stuff had a lovley chat with debbie. to see if i had gotten one from the guy from su which i haddn't but i am going to go along to the school su group anyway and see if the receptionist will grant me access to the building think this may be a bit of a dangerous game but i said i would go along even though i don't really know that much about it. eeek

then have a meeting chic this afternoon and then young peoples house group this evening its all abit all over the place but things will settle down i am sure.

had a cold day

got quite alot of stuff done today which is quite satisfying

but it looks like my car is properly dead so feeling alittle dispondent about that but will get a new one it will be okay.

also feeling alittle lownly but hey thats life i guess.

lifts and walking in the rain

my buildings lift is brock which is most vexing since it means that when i forget something i have to go all the way back up the five stories. but at lest i have my legs to go up and down the stair most residents don't even have that. although in reality we only have to manage one flight to get into the even floor lift so ho hum.

winter seems to have arrived at perth the wind is up the temperture has gone dramaticaly down i wish i had a proper coat last years one is all worn out. Gordon and i have to walk to church in the rain last sunday which was not to bad it wasn't to cold but i felt really ill by the time i got home.

slightly tired slightly sad waiting for the tubledryer to stop

well the big plans for the weekend where scuppered by my car not getting past carlise steph and erica went on down to nics hen weekend but i really just could not justify it. so came back up the road with the aa man and my car. spent saturday feeling very low went down to broburn and lay in the sun in the back garden of where gordon lives he was to figaty to sit with my long so we actulay spent most of the day papart but never mind we not feeling very socialble any way.

went to church yesterday which was really nice also means i have not used up any of my holiday which is good. spiled saurce over my only clean jeans so had to wash them last night with the other pair so am now waiting for the tublel dryer to finish its good work and then i will head out to work.

have a engage meenting tonight and also a later than normal house group although i am not sure how i will get there since my car is dead.

oh no

my laptop is making that scary sound that means the fan is probley on its way out it will soon be like flogging a dead donkey trying to do anything on this thing i guess that that means i had better start saving for a new home computer although i don't think i nesisarlaly need a laptop any more so that should save some bucks.

had an intresting night last night the other leader for youth club did not come but some young people had keys so they came in early to play table tennis but neglected to lock the door the next thing i new i had the whole lot of them in the building yikes child protection nightmare. i waited as long as i could with all honistly wait before i kicked them all although they tunred up a bit later to see if the other leader had come and if i could let them back in. but hey i guess these things happen there must have been crossed wires somewhere along the way.

things are good

things are going really well although had a no sleep night because the next few weekends are so manic i got really stressed about them but hey it is all important stuff.

this sunday we have engage which is going to be good young people lead worship well at least i hope it will be. although they are charging for entrace which i am not so sure about?

then next weekend is nics hen party so steph erica and i are all traveling down together which will e great fun!!!

then the weekend after that is my dads 70th birthday yikes although my plans are not finalised about that yet all depending on my fathers other kids i have booked my megabus seats down. although i am going to be so recked by then end of it i can't really afford the train or plane this time.

Freestyle Fire Poi

it may just be the buz

it may just be starting my new job and being all excited about that but i am feeling better than i have been feeling for months. which is great i even think that i am starting to lose some of the whieght i put on at the y.

although had a bit of a hectic day yeasterday it started off well and was feeling quite happy with myself and so forth but then i took gordon and his mum down to edingbough to the station and the car overheated on the way out of the city partly due to not haveing toped up the water and the whole city being in gridlock more so than normal. this conspired with the bridge being a car park and me getting totaly lost when i got back to perth for me arriving at my meeting so late everyone was going oops but i did meet the new local youth worker.

i also had a rad night no one had said but i went back to the church after the meeting to disscuss it with the person who had actualy turned up to the meeting and see if there was anything i needed to know. and there where a gang of young people practicing for worship which was for the new youth worship event. which i will be involved in i met a few more of the local youth workers which i am sure will be helpful how is it i have missed these people over the past few months honistly it is like starting all over again in a totaly new place. had a great night

well i have finaly got there and have started my new job i am so chuffed so far. wont tell you about the hassles getting up here i mean after all it was all about silly airoplains and thats really not important.
went to my new line managers house for drink last night signed my contract and chatted a bit about my week although it all still feels a bit wooly thats fine because that will give me time to settle and get used to the place a bit and give me an opertunity to think through some half formed ideas i have for where i want stuff to start heading. it also means i can go and join in with the current work and see how i fit into that. by the sounds of things they have a pritty good set up though so its all good.

church this morning was nerve racking meeting all those people is always hard but i have a feeling i will be right at home there pritty quick which will be lovley i really like the prospect of having a home church again.

my office rocks the young people cleaned it and painted it for me which was so lovley i met a few of them today but they where off to a baptisum so i will meet more over the week. but back to the office they had painted it yellow and oringe and pink and green i am so chuffed aperantly they just did it without any prompting.

feeling really blessed and really tired now think i shall head to bed soon

oh gordons mums up at the moment which is also lovley but gordon and she both disaper tomorrow which is a big bummer if you ask me.

cleaning

just finished cleaning the house so that my family will hae somewhere nice to come back to after their holiday. the smell of cleaning products is very strong at the moment and i feel tired but quite pleased with myself. its been a long time since i have cleaned this house top to bottem but this is where i learned those skills so it was fairly simple and easy.

about to take the dog for his penoltamate walk although i think that i will wait till the end of this disc of jane eyre before i go i am totaly enjoying it my abridged version was totaly pants and left out really improtant detail but i guess they all do. nearly half way through since yesterday i am so sad arnt i.

cleaning and classic novils. but you cannot say the jane is dull i mean it is a great example of early feminisum wounderful

London and Dad

yay saw dad today was great really lovley to see him really really really really really lovley and not because he bought me loads of stuff or took me out to lunch in one of my fav restraints i miss my dad very much and would have been happy sitting all day in a park chatting.

but hey not complaining we went to see the dutch portait exerbision which was great really really intresting some of the pictures where so spectuala and so different from what you normaly see. can't explain really they just where.

then we went to paperchaise and the talking bookshop and hmv and ended up in rada chatting to dianas workmate while dad met the cast of his next show.

half a sixpence is going up to aberdeen and dad said he would be me some tickets which is really exsiting i am so looking forward to it.

my tummy is giving me jip and am sitting in mums office having run out of things to do so i guess unless they come up with a whole new list of things to do this is my last day in here.
had another lazy day yesterday when i played far to much on the computer but hey did mums ironing so she will be happy.
spent this mornign cleaning the rooms that i am not useing i figure if i do the cleaning it will be nicer house for my family to come back to and by the sounds of things they have not had the best holiday ever. chris is quite pourly with an ear infection poor kid they had to go to the hospital and everything.

well on blogger i do not really on face book it is a bit strange posting between two things but the one on blogger is from my flat in cathcart which i left 3!! years ago so will find an approperate one when i go home not as if people arn't obsessed with taking my photo for some reason.

anayhow what have i been up to i am totaly enjoying being home its actualy really lovley no stress because my post does not come here lots of good company of friends and whatnot. walking the dog and running around in my brother car.

dan gen pete and i had another bbq and video night last night we drank a bottle of wine and relaxed which was lovley. watched sin city which i really enjoyed i am quite supprsed to say but hey.

church in the morning was good it is acutaly funny how weired it is to be with them to weeks in a row but it was nice to hear ian preach (they had been to new wine (where i became a christian) last week which excited me) the sermon was on the resurtion of lazeras which was really good i think i got out of it the most that god does not do things the way we wont him to (or at least not all the time) he does things in the way that will bring him most glory. and putting that into the conxtect of my life since april it is very lifting and i came away feeling good about the whole thing (arn't i being grown up)

can't wait to start my new job next week!!!

why is it i never remeber my password

it was a joy not bring my lapdown down the country with me it meant i did not have to lug it around at the airport but its a pain because i have all my passwords saved on it so i am currently surfing the net despratly trying to remeber what password i use where but hey there are worse things in life.



been going into the warehouse and doing some work on health and saftey for my mum while she is away also been doing alittle dogs body work but thats okay.

although have been feeling very tired after each day it is a bussy office and can get quite intence also the fact that almost everyone in there is relatied to me in some way is quite scary i don't think i have been around my exstended family for the lenght of time for at least the last 5 years but it is all good.

other than that it has been a few days of seeing friends who i never get to hang out with properly eating good food at their houses and serving well we sharn't say good food at mine going to have a dvd night tonight with Gen and Dan which will be lovley and am looking forward to church again on sunday.
although am really starting to look forward to getting back to perth and starting my new job have loads of ideas already and am not even there yet.

rushden

i am getting through my first full day at home with only the dog and the cat for company. of course going to church this morning helped alot. it was a really good service thoughts on Noha which like david said is one of those stories you have heard so meny time you think that you just can't get anything else out of it but there really is alot more to it than you hear in sunday school.

went shopping and bought a pair of shorts in tescos along with my weeks food and stuff really really lovley and hot today going to go for a dip in the hot tub now which is good.

looking forward to tomorrow as dan and gen are coming round and we are going to have bbq and then tuesday going to the wearhouse to see family and do some work. and then in the eve going to bill and hillaryies house for dinner so all in all these two weeks are starting off well.

although am missing gordon wish he was here.
